“Caution! Banned Books!”

Display of challenged/banned books in the Albright College. Many of the books in the display included a bookmark that explained why each individual title was challenged or banned. For example, Ulysses by James Joyce was banned because it “…might cause impure and lustful thoughts,” while Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. has been referred to as “just plain filthy.”
